Faith & Hitting: Integrating Jesus and Baseball
Join us for a two-hour hitting session designed to help players grow mentally, physically, and spiritually in the batter’s box.
East Coast Sox Director, Joe Caruso, will lead the sessions. Joe is a former All-American and All-SEC player for the University of Alabama and spent seven years in professional baseball after being drafted twice in the MLB Draft.
Caruso is a highly respected hitting coach who has worked with East Coast Sox alumni and Major League standouts Brent Rooker and Pete Alonso. This past summer, Caruso had the honor of serving as Brent Rooker’s batting practice thrower during the MLB Home Run Derby—a special moment shared between coach and player on one of baseball’s biggest stages.
Throughout the session, players will move from tee work to batting practice, progressing through drills designed to refine their swing and overall approach. More importantly, each session will also focus on biblical truths and gospel-centered instruction, encouraging players to strengthen both their faith and their game.
Players are encouraged to register for multiple sessions to continue developing their skills and spiritual foundation.
