2024 Sox fall details

The East Coast Sox will build three types of teams for the 2024 fall. Below are the details:
1. HOOVER BASED TOURNAMENT TEAMS
Schedule:
September 7-8, 2024 PG Hoover Event
September 14-15, 2024 PG Hoover Event
September 21-22, 2024 PG Hoover Event
October 12-13, 2024 Mississippi State University "East Coast Sox" World Series
Optional Weekend - October 5-6, 2024 MS College where we will hold a developmental weekend, followed by games against other Sox teams.
SUMMARY - teams will primarily be made up of 12-13 players per team. These teams will have players assigned teams based off ability and graduation years. We will have 15u-18u teams. If you are an elite 14u player, then you can request a Tournament team.
2. MEMPHIS BASED TOURNAMENT TEAMS
Schedule:
September 7-8, 2024 PG Millington Event or 2D Sports Memphis
September 14-15, 2024 PG Millington Event or 2D Sports Memphis
September 21-22, 2024 PG Millington Event or 2D Sports Memphis
October 12-13, 2024 Mississippi State University "East Coast Sox" World Series

3. DEVELOPMENTAL BASED TEAMS
Schedule:
September 14-15, 2024 University of Alabama - Birmingham - Developmental Weekend
September 21-22, 2024 Northeast Community College - Developmental Weekend
October 5-6, 2024 Mississippi College - Developmental Weekend
October 12-13, 2024 Mississippi State University "East Coast Sox" World Series
SUMMARY - teams will primarily be made up of 12-13 players per team. We will have players from all ages, but any 13u player must excel to be in the program. If you are an elite 14u player, then you can request a Tournament team. Line ups and positions will rotate game by game. Weekends will consist of a Saturday practice followed by one game, and Sunday will have two games. Start time is tentatively set for 3:00 p.m practice start on Saturday, while Sunday game times will be 9:00 and 11:00.
