Coach Xen Penny is entering his 1st season as the East Coast Sox Hitting Coordinator.

Xen works off season training our of Collierville, TN, where he works with Sox players from all over the country.  Coming out of training Big League players, Xen will bring a fresh level of professionalism to our players.

Coach Penny, a baseball enthusiast hailing from Millington, Tennessee, showcased his talent on the field at Tipton Rosemark Academy during high school. His journey led him to Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, where he earned an honorable mention in college baseball. Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, Xen started at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and later served as the hitting coordinator at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, NC. His skills caught the attention of the Arizona Diamondbacks, where he spent 2 impactful years as a hitting coach across Rookie, Low A, and High A levels.

With a history in the East Coast organization during his high school years, Xen eagerly anticipates rejoining the organization.
