Coach Logan Shurden is entering his 1st season with the East Coast Sox.

I am excited to join the East Coast Sox as a coach for the 2025 summer season. As a 4-year college shortstop myself, 4 years of coaching experience, and a degree in exercise science, I bring a strong passion for the skill and performance development of our athletes on and off of the field.

I began my college career at Southeastern Louisiana University where we won the Southland Conference Tournament in 2022 and got a bid to play in the Auburn NCAA Regional. After two years with the Lions, I transferred to Mississippi College to continue my playing career. I have a wealth of knowledge in performance training, biomechanics, and motor preferences that I look forward to sharing with our athletes.

I am incredibly excited to be a part of such an elite organization and to be able to share my passion for baseball with others. Working with high school athletes is one of my favorite jobs as a coach. I understand the massive developmental window for our high school athletes and look forward to helping each of them grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.
