Coach Aaron Coots is entering his 1st season as coach for the East Coast Sox.

Coach Coots is the Head Baseball Coach at Gosnell High School (Arkansas). He has been at Gosnell for 4 years. In those years the team has gone on to win 1 Conference Championship, 1 District Championship, 1 Regional Championship and 1 State Championship (2024). His overall record at Gosnell is 65-29. Coach Coots was also named 3A-3 Coach of the Year for the conference and was also named Coach of the Year for baseball in the state of Arkansas in 2024. Over the last 4 years Coach Coots has seen 9 players make commitments to further their playing career in college.

Coach Coots is a native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Coach Coots played at Westside High School for Chad Soden where he lettered for 4 seasons. After high school Coots furthered his playing career by attending Crowley’s Ridge College (Paragould, AR) as a first baseman. Coach Coots has 1 son named Baker.
