east coast sox 16u select coach

Craig Mullins is entering his third season with the East Coast Sox.

Coach Mullins loves teaching infield play and getting to know the players and other coaches. East Coast is an organization that is developing young men into  tomorrow's community leaders and he feels it's a blessing to be a part of that.

Coach Mullins started his collegiate playing career in his hometown of Columbia, TN at Columbia State Community College. The Chargers won the state tournament that year and fell short of the World Series by one game. Coach Mullins went on to continue his college days playing at Tennessee Tech University. He made  all conference teams and was eventually named to the Tennessee Tech All-Century team earlier this year. After finishing his college career, Craig went on to play professionally in the Big South League for the Columbia Mules.

After finishing his degree, Coach Mullins' first job was coaching at Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, TN. The Pioneers had a great team that year and made it to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colorado. After that first year, Coach Mullins was named head assistant coach and enjoyed being involved in recruiting the players.
Craig currently lives in Hendersonville, TN with his wife Ann Alece, his daughter, Drew(3), his son, Sam(16) and his dog, Stevie Nicks. He works as a sales manager in the real estate industry. During his free time Coach Mullins enjoys exercising, watching sporting events, cooking, and hanging with his family.
