jackson pittman
east coast sox underclass head coach

Coach Pittman is 20 years old and currently a part of the Mississippi College baseball pitching staff as a Junior. He spent his first 2 years at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, Illinois, and went to High School at Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, Illinois. I have been playing baseball since I was 6 years old and since I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a coach. I have helped with middle school teams in my hometown in both practices and games and would like to eventually begin a career as a collegiate coach.
Why do I coach with the East Coast Sox?
I am extremely excited for this coaching opportunity, as it will be my first team to coach as my own team. Over my many years of baseball experience, I have gathered a ton of knowledge about the game that I can’t wait to share.
I am also excited to work along side other coaches in the organization and pick their brains about the game we all know and love.
The most important thing I am excited about this summer is using the game of baseball as a platform to share the word of God. This game can open the door to meet people from all over the world, so using it to spread the word of Christ is the most important thing we can do as coaches and players.
I couldn’t be more appreciative to the organization for giving me this opportunity to learn as a new coach and also raise up young athletes of Christ.
GO SOX!
