jerome lambert

Jerome Lambert is returning for his 2nd season with East Coast Sox.

Coach Lambert is currently coaching and teaching English at Waterloo High School in Waterloo, Alabama. He has been a high school coach and teacher for the past 26 years. Formerly, he was a teacher/coach for one year at Trezevant High School (Tennessee) and 19 years at Central High School in Florence, Alabama.

Coach Lambert is a graduate of Waterloo High School where he was a member of their state championship team. After graduating from the University of North Alabama, and spending one year at Trezevant, Lambert began his teaching and coaching career at Central High School in Florence, Alabama, where he spent 11 years as the head baseball coach.  While serving in his coaching duties there, Central captured a state championship and made the semifinals and the state quarterfinals numerous other times. As head coach, they captured their Area Championship 6 times in his 11 years.

He is married to Amanda Franks Lambert from Savannah, Tennessee.  Jerome and Amanda have 5 children, Caroline (17), Elijah (15), Clara (13), Catherine (11), and Cora (9). The Lambert family currently resides outside of Florence, Alabama, where they spend most of their time enjoying the outdoors and going to ballgames.
