Coach Judah Buckner is entering his 2nd season with the East Coast Sox.

Coach Buckner started out as a player for the Sox, before starting his coaching career with us.  He is currently at Northwest CC playing for the Rangers.

2022 [Redshirt Freshman]: Made two appearances on the mound before missing the rest of the season with an injury...tossed four strikeouts against five total innings, including three strikeouts in a loss to Lake Land College (February 12)...off the field, named to the President's List for the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters.

2021 [Freshman]: Made 11 appearances on the mound, all in relief...delivered 15 strikeouts in 13 total innings pitched...recorded his only win in a March 16 matchup against Coahoma...off the field, named to the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 President's Lists...recognized as a Distinguished Academic All-MACCC and first team NJCAA All-Academic selection.

High School: Played for head coach Luke Buckner at Starkville Christian School...helped the Cougars to a 3-0 record during a COVID-19 shortened senior season...team finished undefeated during his sophomore and junior seasons...also played basketball at SCS...off the field, graduated with honors and served as a leader for Fellowship of Christian Athletes...received interest from MUW and other MACCC programs.

Personal: Son of missionaries Diane and Robert Buckner...has three siblings, John Paul (19), Samuel (15) and Micah (13)...spent his first five years living in Thailand and China...hobbies include fishing, hunting, golfing and hanging out with friends...area of study is undecided...born May 21, 2001.
