east coast sox 14u national head coach

Coach Keith Wright will be returning to coach the East Coast Sox for his 5th season.

Coach Wright came to the Sox through his son playing for the Sox.  As a dad, he saw his son's team grow on and off the field spiritually, and he felt led to coach and lead players closer to Jesus.  Over his time with the Sox, Coach Wright models a Sox coach because he continually shares his love for players through his encouraging coaching and positive Christian values as a role model for his players.

After graduating from Hartselle High School in 1987, Coach Wright spent the next four years playing baseball at Northwest-Shoals Community College and Jacksonville State University.  While at Jacksonville State, he played on back-to-back Division II National Champion Baseball Teams.

In 1993, he began teaching at Hartselle High School and has been there ever since.  During his 23 years at Hartselle High School, he has served as a basketball/baseball/football/soccer/track coach.  Coach Wright was on the staff of two state championships at Hartselle: 1993 5A Basketball and 2011 5A Football.
