corey spires

Corey Spires is entering his 1st season with the East Coast Sox.

Corey was a former player at the University of Alabama from 1994-1996, where his team won two SEC Championships, a Regional Championship, and a College World Series.  After his final season at Alabama, Corey was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 8th round.

Corey played 5 years in MiLB where he played up to the AA level.

As a former teammate of Joe Caruso at Alabama, Joe shares, "Corey was an amazing player but even better person.  It was a blessing to play with Corey and even more excited to have him be a Sox coach."
