joey caruso

Joey Caruso is entering his 3d season coaching for the East Coast Sox.

In the summer of 2025, Caruso was a signigant contributer to the national program as an assistant coach.  Under the Sox directors and their leadership, Caruso assisted the best the program had to offer both players and coches.  A great learning experienece for Caruso as he prepares for his coaching future once his collegiate playing time is over.

Joey played for Collierville High School, where he was a three year letterman for the Dragons.  In his junior and senior seasons, his team went to the State Championships where they finished 3rd in the state in their final season.

Coach Caruso played his summer baseball for the East Coast Sox, where he earned 3 Tournament MVP honors and 5 championships.

After high school, Joey earned a scholarship playing for the University of Alabama Huntsville. In his limited freshman role, Joey hit .500 his freshman season.  After his freshman year, Joey played collegiate summer league baseall in the M.I.N.K. League where his team finsihed in 2nd place and he was top 3 in the league in RBI's.

Caruso is currently a junior infielder for the Chargers.
