Josh Baker is entering his 3rd season coaching with the Sox.

Coach Josh Baker serves as the Scouting Director for Arkansas and West Tennessee for the Sox. His impact on the organization is felt by everyone around him because of his positive and upbeat coaching style. Coach Baker has already helped so many families from the Midwest navigate the process of collegiate and professional baseball. Baker serves as Director for the Sox, working side by side with Sox owners and staff to create an incredible experience for our families and players to hear Jesus through baseball.
Coach Baker has been a high school baseball coach in Arkansas for 5 years including the head coach at Nemo Vista in Center Ridge and an assistant coach at Marion High School in Marion, Arkansas. He is currently serving in his first year as the head baseball coach at Brookland High School.

In 2021, he led Nemo Vista to the quarterfinals of the state tournament. He was also selected as the 2021 1A-4 conference
Coach of the Year. In 2022, Coach Baker took an assistant coaching position at 5A Marion where he would be responsible for coaching
infielders. In his time at Marion, the Patriots finished 48-16 over a 2- year span including the school’s first ever State Championship in
2022.

Coach Baker has seen 20 players make commitments to further their playing career in college with 12 coming at the Division 1 level.
A native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Coach Baker played at Westside High School for Chad Soden where he lettered for 4 seasons. He
furthered his playing career at Williams Baptist College for 1 season under head coach Frank Lee as a pitcher. Baker is married to his wife Ashleigh, who is a speech therapist, and they have 1 son named Benjamin.
