Coach Will Godfrey is returning to coach with the East Coast Sox for his 3rd season.
Being a former Sox player, Will brings a vast knowledge of serving Jesus through baseball.  His servants heart as a player carries over to the coaching side very well.
After playing for the Sox, Will played 2 years at MS Delta CC before landing with D2 powerhouse MS College.

Played in seven games with five starts…hit .200 on the season with three hits…season-best one hit three times with the last coming at Christian Brothers…logged RBI at Auburn-Montgomery.BEFORE MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE
Played two seasons at Mississippi Delta Community College…played in 70 games for the Trojans…posted a .325 batting average with 68 hits and 25 RBI…collected 16 doubles, one triple and three home runs with four stolen bases…named second team academic all-American…member of Phi Theta Kappa…prepped at New Hope High School…two-time all-state and all-district performer for the Trojans…an MAC All-Star selection during her junior and senior seasons…selected to the NECABB All-Star Game…received the Coaches and Stolen Base Award at NHS…ranked third catcher in the State of Mississippi in the 2016 Class by Perfect Game…named to New Hope Hall of Fame…member of the BETA Club and Spanish Honor Society.

Son of Stephanie and Lance Godfrey…born on Dec. 2, 1997…majoring in Biology-Medical Science…father played baseball at East Mississippi Community College.
